    Filled with Excitement & Sorrow

So today is a pretty exciting day.  Tonight Bob and I are signing a contract to buy a new home.  And God willing we will make settlement in September!  I am excited but sad at the same time.  I'm excited about getting a bigger home and starting the next chapter of our life, but at the same time sad to leave all the good memories we made at our house.  It's been such a good little house for us.

    Youth Advance

What an amazing weekend!  This past weekend was our Youth Advance!  We were suppose to go away to the Poconos on Friday night and come back Sunday but God had other plans for us and we stayed around the area.  The theme for the weekend was Things you need to know NOW.  The Youth Pastor focused on Forgiveness, Truth and Purity.  What an amazing opportunity for these kids as well as Bob and I, to learn these Biblical Truths at such a young age.  I am extremely thankful to God for the Church he has placed Bob and I in and people that we have met and are building relationships with.

To start the weekend off, we watched the movie Radio and ate popcorn and candy.  The movie was to help get us ready for our first session Forgiveness.  Then I took the girls and we went to the Pastor's house and Bob and the boys stayed at the Youth Pastor's house.  In the morning we (the girls) went back.  We had quiet time and spent time in PS 119:1-32  and then it was breafast time.  The quiet time got us ready for our next session, Truth.

After our session we played some dodgeball and kickball.  Not too many got hurt...We then came in and made our own pizzas.  Yummy Yummy!  We then went ice skating.  That was alot of fun!  I got out on the ice and by the end I was actually skating without holding on to the side of the rink.  We had free time once we got back to the house and so we played alot of rounds of Mofia and then more dodgeball.  We had chili for dinner and then had more free time.  We ended up playing card games and then Cranium.  We then had our last session on Purity.  By this time some of the kids have come and gone, so we didn't get into it to much.  We are going to do that at a later date...and seperate the boys and girls.  Everyone went home that night and we ended our weekend with a recab at Sunday School the next morning.

I really awesome to see some of these teens really growing in God's word!  I am so thankful that I am apart of that and have my husband by my side!

So yesterday was the big V-Day.  I have to say it was such a great day!  When Bob and I got home from work we exchanged gifts...He got me the bestgift, Season 1 of the Gilmore Girls.  We went to the dinner for dinner, they had a Valentines menu, but they also had the regular menu so I was excited about that.  They sat us at a table for four which isn't unusual but to our surprise while we were eating our french onion soup Bob's dad and girlfriend walked in so they joined us!  And to make things even better...His dad payed for us!  That's always a nice treat.  After dinner we stopped by my parents to visit with them.  It was just a quick visit...then off to the mall.  Bob just wanted to check out the camera he's saving for.  Then off to the movies we went.  We went and saw Annapolis with the hottest guy after Bob, James Franco.  It was a pretty good movie.  I think I really like it because they shot the bar scenes right down the street from our house.  That was really cool.  It was just really good night!

I also need to share the wonderful thing that my husband did for me on Monday night!  Like most nights, we both had stuff to do.  He had class and I worked out at curves and had pottery class.  My pottery class ended up going later then usual...so when I got home Bob was making dinner...and not just anything fried eggplant, which if you ever made it you know it's not fast or real easy to make!  I think it took him like two hours to make.  What a great guy!
